 | | | | | Betty, I was the person who Alameda connected you with a few days ago. I thought I'd send the feedback electronically. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of help I've received at NESFV. I have had help from many on the staff, and I don't know where they are positioned relative to you. Some of the staff that have helped me includes Alameda, Josie, the Moroccan woman whose name I've forgotten (Farina, I think), William, Shayna, David, Gonsolo, and Denise. All have helped me stay positive, and keep going on my search even on the many days when my job search yielded nothing, or negative results. Job search is especially discouraging these days because employers take their time, and often don't provide much help in determining how they stand on one's potential job with them. They only sure feedback is a job offer, and that could take several months during which time those of us seeking employment much keep up our spirits and show a positive attitude, even if things aren't going right, or appear that way. I am glad that I sought out help here, and found the experience encouraging despite the personal difficulties I experienced. I finally have a job with another one to be started once my temporary employment with the Census Bureau ends. I have you and your staff to thank for that. ..IRV FEDERMAN |
